TALK/MUTE Button with the PTT Function
Note:
1. To switch between the TALK and MUTE modes, simply press the TALK/MUTE button. You can also switch between the two modes by rotating the mic boom up or down.
2. The push-to-talk (PTT) function enables you to temporarily activate talk mode, similar to a walkie-talkie, while still maintaining the full duplex communication feature. Simply hold down the button to talk and release it to return to MUTE mode.

When the ENC switch is on, a yellow mark under the switch will show, and the indicator light on the microphone will be blue, indicating that the noise cancelling is on.
- How many remote/slave headsets can be used with the master headset?
Up to 7 remote headset can be used with one master earphone, for a total number of 8 people. - When should I turn on/off noise cancelling? Does noise cancelling affect battery life?
It is generally recommended to turn on the ENC switch for most communication scenarios, as turning on noise cancelling does not affect battery life. - Can the Solidcom C1 and Solidcom C1 Pro be used together? Is there noise cancelling when they are used together?
Yes, they can be used together. The Solidcom C1 doesn't have environment noise cancelling feature, so we recommend to use it in quiet places such as studios, broadcast vehicles, and backstage. The Solidcom C1 Pro can be used in noisy environments such as near stages and loudspeakers, where the best noise cancelling effect can be achieved. - Why I still hear a lot of background noise even though I've turned on the noise cancelling switch?
When the ENC noise cancelling switch is turned on, it reduces the ambient noise picked up by your own headset, not the noise heard through other headsets. For the noise cancelling to be effective, the speakers' headset must have the ENC feature turned on. especially for people near loudspeakers. The ENC feature will significantly reduce the background noise that others hear.
- How long does it take for delivery?
